Daniel J. Mahoney
Is a children's book author and illustrator who has written and illustrated for Clarion Books The Saturday
Escape, The Perfect Clubhouse, and A Really Good Snowman, which was celebrated at The Society of
Illustrator's 25th annual Original Art Show. He has also illustrated I See A Monster, Coco the Love Dog, Ocean
Wonders, The Happy Hippos, and a series of five books about a rabbit named Bunny.
He has also created art for several educational publishers. Daniel never attended art school, as he is a
self-taught artist specializing in acrylic gouache, watercolor and colored pencils. He resides in Albany, NY with
his wife and son.
